I love the winter! I enjoy everything about it; hot chocolate, waffles, hot water bottle. It also gives you all the more reason to dress up in cozy knits, oversized winter coats, stylish boots and warm gloves. Then there’s the occasional weekend nights in where I catch up on a movie or favourite series! I could go on about the season within itself, but my real attention has more to do with this gorgeous winter dress by Taliana. I have developed a great fondness with this local designer because their dresses are perfect. They are perfect for my lifestyle right now because they are easy to wear with luxurious fabric, feminine with a hint of fun and for some reason I am absolutely super comfortable. This Gina Dress in particular has to be my utmost favourite; long sleeved with a crossed overlap opening at the front and the knee length is just about right(not too short or nor long). Now I know winter is my preferred season, but in all honesty Harare isn’t that cold either so I completed the look with bedazzled stilettos because why not? And I had a super fun time curating this shoot because this dress was every bit of gorgeous and more; besides less is more right? Since winter is my favourite season, what with all the fun details I shared; I want to know from you. What do you love about winter and why? Is it the hot chocolate? Maybe you love a nice cosy indoor fire with marshmallows? Do hit me up in the comments and let me know.
How I Styled It.
I love the city girl look inspired by Carrie Bradshaw and Brittany Hampton – easy, on-the-go but still stylish and on point. And yes, they make running around in heels look soo effortless! So this look was edgy, modern with a dash of glamour paired with a black pair of stilettos with sparkle detail, leopard print scarf, oversized sunglasses completed with a black tote that carries just about anything and everything that a girl truly needs!
